Volunteers play a crucial role in the life of the community on our campus. They come in order to give - but often find they receive much much more!

Volunteers come individually, or in work parties, for short or longer periods.

Volunteers work alongside local staff in a variety of jobs:
- Gardening and landscaping
- Maintenance (repairs, painting, plumbing, electricity)
- Carpentry and building
- Specialized office and clerical work
- Specialized computer work
- Assisting housekeeping staff

- Childcare in the hospital's daycare center
- Nurse aides
